About CatalyticsHub

CatalyticsHub is a free-to-use online supplier intelligence tool designed for procurement and commercial specialists. It aggregates, analyses and presents supplier information in real time, helping users track developments across their supply base and make informed, evidence-based purchasing and commercial decisions. By bringing relevant information together, CatalyticsHub helps businesses better understand their suppliers, respond to emerging developments and derive greater value from supplier relationships.

The Challenge

CatalyticsHub’s original platform depended heavily on third-party services and infrastructure. Although the white-label solution demonstrated demand for the concept, it was difficult to use and made the information presented hard to interpret. The business needed greater ownership of its technology and analytics, alongside the flexibility to develop new services and expand its supplier coverage globally. After an initial development partnership proved unsuitable, CatalyticsHub approached One Beyond to rethink the platform and create a stronger foundation for its ambitions.

Our Solution

One Beyond developed a minimum viable product that retained the existing third-party data platform while bringing supplier information into CatalyticsHub’s own flexible Microsoft Cosmos DB database. Working with the client’s data science team, we built a system to aggregate, analyse and present continuously updated supplier intelligence. Information was tagged by source, location, publication time and sentiment, then delivered through an API to a modern, graphical interface. Close collaboration through daily Scrum meetings kept development responsive to feedback, establishing a foundation for additional data sources and further improvements to the user experience.
