We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist to join our growing team in Hungary.

At One Beyond Hungary, your ultimate responsibility will be to act as an HR generalist, set directions for the wellbeing program, suggest initiatives to provide happiness for the team.

What you’ll do:

As a HR Generalist at One Beyond, you will be:

  • Managing the end-to-end onboarding and employment contracting process
  • Making sure the HR processes are aligned to the Labor Code
  • Managing the personal performance review and goal setting processes aligned to the company objectives
  • Leading the holiday planning and tracking processes
  • Collaborating with the Finance team and our payroll provider (EY)
  • Managing the monthly payroll process with collaboration of the payroll provider (EY)
  • Organizing events and social activities for the internal team
  • Building trust and make valuable personal connections with Software and DevOps engineers, Delivery managers, QA Analysts, Financial analysts, Recruiters
  • Sharing experience with the international team from Hungary, Spain and UK
  • Managing digital employee data in our HR system (BambooHR)
  • Acting as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches
  • Able to join our international Mental Health First Aider program and coach employees through their personal challenges
  • Contributing to our global all-hands company meeting to recognize employee growth and performance
  • Assisting line managers in motivation techniques
  • Giving input to retention and success plans, working with the L&D team
  • Organizing training and workshops related to soft-skills
  • Adopting our international policies in Hungary

Experience & skills:

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • Solid HR generalist background, preferably at an IT company with 40+ employees
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels
  • Native Hungarian and active, fluent English language skills
  • Proficient computer skills (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with at least one HR system
  • Good attention to detail
  • Eager for on-going improvements
  • Driving license


Candidates have option to work from our Budapest or Szeged offices with home office option – which means 3-4 days working from home and 1-2 days working from the office.
